What is HRS ?

HRS or Hydrogen Refuelling Station is simply a facility that dispenses hydrogen at a pressures of 350 and 700 bar (H35 and H70) to supply fuel cells electric vehicles (FCEV). A sample HRS consists generally of hydrogen storage system, hydrogen gas compressors, a pre-cooling system and a hydrogen dispenser.

Hydrogen Refuelling Station can be divided into three types based on the supply method; an off-site type that produces hydrogen outside the site of the hydrogen station and transports it to the hydrogen station by a trailer or pipeline, and an on-site type that generate hydrogen using the equipment installed at the hydrogen station other include the mobile stations that are generally smaller then the stationary ones and used for emergency refills or for certain special mobile use cases.

HRS CONSTRUCTION

After issuing the final approval to build the construction phase starts during this phase we will supervise the construction activities and ensure its compliance with the issued permits, our range of services includes:

  • Project management for the implementation (schedule, quality, safety, stakeholders …etc).
  • Inspection and supervision of the construction activities.
  • Project-accompanying tests, acceptance and assembly tests.

hrs COMMISSIONNING

The commissioning of the HRS starts after the completion of the construction works and before the opening to the public, HYDEVA will process to fill the station with the hydrogen and launch a series of tests to ensure that the station performs as expected:

  • Hydrogen fuel quality testing to ensure it complies with SAE J2719 protocol.
  • Equipment Performance tests to ensure the station complies with SAE J2601 protocol.
  • Commercial testing and certification to ensure that a kilogram of hydrogen sold is a kilogram of hydrogen received.
  • Official opening the station to the public.

OPERATION & Training

It’s important to operate the station safely with high performance, to ensure that a several operational services are provided by HYDEVA including the following:

  • Conduct  a public training campaigns with the best practice to reinforce the knowledge and increase the social acceptance of hydrogen.
  • Supply of the feedstocks in time to ensure the continuity of the service.
  • Perform the inspection, maintenance, and calibration of the equipment as per the schedule.
  • Perform the tasks correctly as per the written operating procedures.
  • Document and keep the compliance records.
